01
The challenge
Design a way for children to control altitude with their forearms and judge when to flap faster or slower to reach the next coin.
02
Approach
We linked flapping speed to altitude and placed coins at different heights. The city scrolls to the left while Abbas stays near the left edge, giving players time to see the next coin and adjust their movement.
03
The solution
We built a Unity game that starts automatically when the player flaps. A bilingual interface shows the score and flight time. On landing, the game saves the score and a player photo when a recent camera frame is available.
Results
- In a simulated forearm tracking test, flapping started the round automatically and landing ended it. The game saved the score and reset for the next player.
